International women's day was this last Saturday and I hosted a small lunch party in my home. I served spicy Brussel sprouts, spicy feta cheese dip, turkey mini burgers and chick pea salad among other things.
Spicy Feta dip:
One package of feta cheese
2 jalapeno peppers chopped finely
1 tbs garlic
2 tbs olive oil
Add olive oil, garlic and chopped peppers to a pan and fry about 5-7 minutes until the peppers are roasted. Add in the feta cheese for another 2 minutes and mix well. Once done, remove from flame. A good storage idea is to add this back to the plastic container the feta was packaged in. The recipe works well as a dip or a spread and is great on sandwiches for a spicy kick.
