Zengo NYC - August 2014 Visit

Spicy Crab Guacamole

Tuna Fish Tacos

I can't go to NYC without stopping by Zengo. I absolutely love this place. The seafood dishes here are spectacular. There is a Latin American and Japanese fusion twist to all of the dishes. I tried the Spicy Crab meat guac and it was so good. It was spicy, topped with lots of crab meat, and creamy guacamole as a base. This by itself would have made a really good meal. Another one of the small plates was the Ahi Tuna fish tacos. This was excellent as well.

During prior trips I tried the Miso soup - not your standard as it has a tomato base, and I have also tried the Shrimp Flat bread. The flat breads are a great appetizer for a table to share.

The bars upstairs are always packed and it is worth your time to make a reservation as even on weeknights this place is packed. During the weekend the lines can become very long.
