Happy Halloween - Jessica Simpson inspired painted makeup look

Jessica Simpson's makeup artist did an amazing job with Jessica Simpson's painted on mask. I love the concept of a mask because it is easier to wear a painted on mask then dealing with a face mask that may be uncomfortable.

A better picture of the painted mask upfront:

Snow Queen: Jessica Simpson donned an elaborate makeup design made to look like a glamorous silver mask for younger sister Ashlee's 'Christmas in California' 30th birthday bash festivities on Thursday night
To create the mask look at home you will need:

Silver eyeliner pen- try Victoria's secret
Black eyeliner pen- try Victoria's secret
Silver eye shadow - try Sephora #60 diamonds are forever and #63 under the covers
White eye shadow pencil- try NYX milk jumbo eye pencil
Black eye shadow pencil- try Victoria's secret eye liner pencil
Dark lipstick- try Kat Von D in Vampira
Eye shadow primer - try Urban Decay eye shadow primer
False eye lashes - try Ardell

The trick to making this look good is  the eye shadow primer and the base of NYX pencil in milk. First thing is to apply the eye primer all around the eye area and your mask area and allow it to dry. Once that is done make an outline of your mask using nyc jumbo eye pencil.

Use the nyx pencil to fill in the mask area completely so what you have is a mask that is completely white. This is your base for the powder eye shadow you will add later to set the makeup.

Using a clean blush brush, apply the silver eye shadow in diamonds are forever all over the mask area. Then apply the lighter eyeshadow in #63 as a highlighter.

From there, use a dark eyeshadow pen to create the design around the corners. Use the silver eyeshadow pen for more embellisment.

Add black eyeliner to your eyes and add false lashes.

Apply a dark lipstick to your lips.

Fill in your foundation and add blush on your checks.
